Thanks so much for these great tips and while every company needs the procedure manual, many just never get around to documenting and publishing this great tool. Glad you so strongly advocate it as the starting place.

Every company has a policy and procedure manual that its employees follow so as a team you might want to start with your companys policies and procedures to get some type of idea about how you guys want things to work. Set clear guidelines for a variety of topics including but not limited to when and where you guys will meet the best form of communication for your team who is going to lead the meetings keep track of important notes how to deal with potential problems and most important what kind of behavior is expected from each team member. Establishing these ground rules in the beginning can help but as time goes on your team should revisit these policies and procedures to determine if they still work for the team...Tip two .Deciding how decisions will be made.

When it comes to business teamwork you want your business team to be energized enthusiastic and looking forward to making progress on their goals. In the following article we will discuss how motivating and uniting your business team will lead to better business teamwork.Of course you want your business team to work well together with any personal feelings aside. If your business team is not enthusiastic about their work they may not work as well together or meet their goals in the fashion you want them to. Your employees and team members need to feel as though they are needed and wanted in the workplace. When your employees realize that they can make a difference within your company they will work harder as a team to reach their goals. If your business team seems to be lacking energy and enthusiasm there are some tips you can use to motivate and unite your business team. First and foremost your team needs a mission and goals. A team mission and goals must be in place so that your team has something to work towards. Once a team mission and goals are set you can start promoting collaboration within your team. Teamwork is not teamwork until there is collaboration between all of the team members. The more brain power you have fueling a mission the faster this mission will be accomplished. Not to mention your team members will get to feel like an actual team when they collaborate amongst themselves. Another great motivational method is to show your business team as often as possible what progress they are making. Showing your business team how their efforts are making positive progress in your business will help to boost their enthusiasm about a whole project.Strong leadership is another important motivational factor that should never be left out of teamwork. Your team needs to know that they can trust you and rely on you. When you successfully coach your business team their faith in you will grow. If you are not making progress with your team or showing enough enthusiasm yourself your teams perception of you may start to wane. These tips can help any business owner or manager to guide their business team towards success...

This is such an important message Andrea. Thank you for bringing attention to it. Going from being a solopreneur to a business owner with a support team is an important transition that will take your business to the next level, allow you to focus on the work you love (and do best) AND create the lifestyle you envisioned when you started your business. I'm looking forward to your teleseminar!
warm wishes,
Cindy

Excellent Joy! The more often we can completely shift gears, use a different part of our brain and behavioral style, the more we open ourselves to a creative way to envision and plan.

I plan, and then I go for a horse back ride or a walk. I connect with nature, which takes my plans to a new level. Thanks for this encouragement!
